Buyers will be given a rare
opportunity to buy into the success of Stratheden Stud when
that operation disperses at the upcoming Magic Millions
National Sale at the Gold Coast.
The stud will present an
outstanding line up of weanlings, race fillies and broodmares
at the country's premier breeding stock sale which kicks away
on May 26.
In total the Stratheden Stud
Dispersal Sale comprises of 44 lots - 21 weanlings, 21
broodmares and a pair of race fillies by Show a Heart and More
Than Ready.
Stratheden Stud's Judy Marheine
said the draft included weanlings by some of the country's
most in form stallions and the mares to go under the hammer
are all in foal.
"We decided now was the right time
to sell," Marheine reported. "We have weanlings by some top
line sires and a number of the mares are in foal to
Stratum."
"Testa Rossa, Commands, Lonhro,
Street Sense and Flying Spur are also represented as covering
sires," she added.
Marheine said the entire draft
would be offered without reserve.
